MASTERPLAN Singer Completes Work On New Solo Album

MASTERPLAN frontman Jorn Lande (ex-ARK, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN) has completed work on a new solo album, due in 2006. Tentatively titled "The Duke", Lande's fourth solo album is being described by the singer as a more "classic rock"-sounding record, with production from Tommy Hansen, who helmed Lande's sophomore CD, "Worldchanger". The band featured on the new album will include bassist Morty Black (TNT),guitarists Tore Moren (CARNIVORA) and Jorn Viggo Lofstad (PAGAN'S MIND),along with drummer Willy Bendikson (COMPANY OF SNAKES).

Lande's third solo album, "Out to Every Nation" (AFM Records),reached position No. 64 on the Norwegian charts and debuted on the Swedish charts at position No. 84 following its April 2004 release.
